On WestSouthwest, a member of Virginia Tech's Flint Water Study Team. And Bridge examines the social mobility rankings of Michigan's colleges and universities. 

  

A team of researchers at Virginia Tech has been examining data from the Flint water crisis, and advocating for the city's residents. Sid Roy is  graduate student and communication director for Virginia Tech's Flint Water Study. He will speak at Western Michigan University on Tuesday.

Bridge recently examined how Michigan colleges and universities rank on social mobility. Senior Writer Ron French tells us how they ranked 35 schools in the state for helping low-income students succeed in college and beyond.
