On WestSouthwest, we hear about the health care services available for veterans at Borgess Medical Center. And a replay of an interview from earlier this year about a new soccer team in Kalamazoo.

The long wait times for veterans to get health care services has led to other options being available. Ascension Health and its hospitals, including Borgess in Kalamazoo, have joined the Veterans Choice Program. Chief Operating Officer Cindy Gaines and Business Analyst Jennifer Purucker, a combat veteran, join us.

Earlier this year, we heard from the man leading the effort for a new soccer team in Kalamazoo. Mike Garrett explained how Kalamazoo FC plans to field a team, and appeal to fans. The team begins its season May 13th, and the first home game is May 15th. The interview with Mike Garrett originally in February.
