Western Michigan University President John Dunn joins us on WestSouthwest. And we hear about the federal investigation into the Flint water crisis.

WMU President John Dunn sits down with WMUK's Gordon Evans, Kalamazoo Gazette Reporter Madison Bennett and Battle Creek Enquirer Reporter Safiya Merchant. They discuss helping students of the now closed Miller College in Battle Creek, expansion of Western's Business Technology and Research Park, tuition, accreditation for the Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine and other issues.

Great Lakes Echo Commentator Gary Wilson says the federal investigation into the Flint water crisis is taking too long. He says with an election looming, the EPA needs to make results available soon.

Gordon Evans became WMUK's Content Director in 2019 after more than 20 years as an anchor, host and reporter. A 1990 graduate of Michigan State, he began work at WMUK in 1996.
