Western Michigan University Sociology Professor Whitney DeCamp says men are more likely to play violent video games, and most of the mass shootings in the United States are carried out by men. But DeCamp, who is also director of Western's Kercher Center for Social Research says correlation does not equal causation. He says there is no evidence of a link between playing violent video games and committing violent crime.
Reverend Bill Wylie-Kellerman has written for many publications, is the author of several books and has protested against water shutoffs in Detroit. He will be the keynote speaker on Sunday for the annual Peace Service sponsored by the Kalamazoo Interfaith Coalition for Peace and Justice.
