The Kalamazoo area has seen a range of protests recently against actions of the second Trump administration.

Demonstrators plan to protest federal budget cuts made by the Department of Government Efficiency this Saturday in downtown Kalamazoo.

Saturday’s protest is organized by the Kalamazoo County Democratic Party, focusing on how the DOGE cuts have affected military veterans.

Donations of clothes and food will go to the Keystone Veteran Transitional House.

The demonstration will be held at noon in front of the federal courthouse on Michigan Avenue.
