Triple-Threat Cast Headlines Kander & Ebb Revue

farmersalleytheatre.com

The 42-year career of songwriting team John Kander and Fred Ebb produced two huge musical theatre hits (Cabaret and Chicago), hundreds of songs, and twenty musicals. At Farmers Alley Theatre this month, a cast of five professional actor-singer-dancers perform a wide range of the duo's material in And The World Goes Rounda revue show.

Los Angeles-based Andrea Arvanigian, a graduate of the music theater program at Western Michigan University, and New York-based actor Michael McGurk both appreciate the variety of Kander & Ebb's output, which allows for moments of heartbreaking directness as well as pure silliness and sultry innuendo. Farmers Alley Theatre co-founder Rob Weiner says it's a perfect fit for audiences who want a fast-paced, varied cabaret-style show, and an ideal vehicle for the return of director-choreographer Stephen Brotebeck.
