A musical based on a beloved children's book, The Secret Garden will open this week at Farmers Alley Theatre.
Kathy Mulay directs a cast that includes her daughter, Denene Mulay Koch (Lily Craven), her son-in-law Jeremy Koch (Archibald Craven), and her grandson Jason Koch (Colin Craven). Cara Lieurance leads the three family members in a discussion about playing their roles in real life and on stage.
They also elaborate on the rest of the cast, including thirteen-year-old Traverse City native Madison Hertel (Mary Lennox), DJ Bucchiarelli (Dickon Sowerby) and Jane Bruce (Martha Sowerby).
