💥The Kate Hinote Trio is a contemporary folk ensemble completed by The Blueflowers’ guitarist, David Johnson, and Matthew Parmenter (Discipline) on violin. Kate Hinote is an award-nominated Detroit singer-songwriter performing predominantly original material she has co-written for her various projects, including the Kate Hinote Trio and Alt-Rock band, The Blueflowers, which she has been fronting for over a decade. Hinote has a voice that’s both cinematic and operatic, a mood-setting, mellifluous intonation that fits inside candle-lit lounges, late summer night feverdreams, or as a torch song from a surreal soundtrack. The Trio released their debut album "Near" in 2021 and is working towards their second full-length release in Spring 2024.

💥Detroit singer-songwriter Mike Ward: Psychosongs is known for his lyrically-centric, vocally-charged folk songs. While growing up in Port Huron, Michigan, he listened to the Irish music of his heritage and sang in several choirs before digesting the influential sounds of Simon & Garfunkel, Dylan, Springsteen and John Prine. These days, he finds inspiration in the works of Jason Isbell, Sarah Jarosz and John Paul White. His intimate songwriting echoes through empty city streets, back country roads and family portraits. It also resides in the hidden spaces between joy and tragedy, love and loss.
Mike has released four studio albums, “We Wonder” (2018) ,“The Darkness and The Light” (2021), "Career Advice" a single (2021), “Particles to Pearls” (June 2022) an EP "Troubled Times" (Oct. 2022) and "Love Never Rests" (April 2023).
