Kalamazoo Singers To Present 'A Partridge In A Pair Tree'

https://www.facebook.com/kalamazoosingers

The Kalamazoo Singers will present one of the first holiday concerts of the season on Sunday

Rob Wagley, a performer and member of the Kalamazoo Singers board, says the program features pairs of composers, pairs of texts, and mirroring introductions and conclusions of brass and organ.

The Kalamazoo Singers are opening a new chapter in their thirty-eight-year history, according to Wagley. The organization plans to offer scholarships to young singers and expand its numbers from around thirty-five singers to up to fifty.

Cara Lieurance is the local host of NPR's All Things Considered on 1021 WMUK and covers local arts & culture on Let's Hear It on 89.9 Classical WMUK weekday mornings at 10 - 11 am.
