Chamber music for voices is the specialty of the Leipzig-based ensemble Calmus. Now in its eighteenth season and with twenty recordings in its catalog, the group makes its Michigan debut on the Fontana Series Friday night, performing a program called "Shakespeare A Cappella" in the Holy Family Chapel at the Nazareth Center. Cara Lieurance spoke with baritone Ludwig Böhme, a founding member of Calmus, about the group's history and range.
