Vince Mendoza is one of the most versatile and prolific composer–arranger–conductors of the last two decades. A multi-Grammy Award winner, he has written arrangements for a wide variety of pop and jazz artists, and tonight the Western Michigan University Jazz Orchestra and WMU Symphony Orchestra will play a concert of his works. Mendoza and Andrew Rathbun, professor of jazz at WMU, preview the concert and the high points of his career with Cara Lieurance.
