She covered those topics and more in eight years of reporting for the Station, before becoming news director in 2022. Sehvilla helped to launch WMUK’s award-winning listener-question series, “Why’s That?” in 2015. A native of Urbana, Illinois, in her pre-Michigan years Sehvilla studied French at Earlham College and journalism at Indiana University.
