Thousands in Southwest Michigan still without power

WMUK

Power outages continue from storms that moved through the area on Wednesday night.

Consumers Energy's website indicates most of its customers should have service back by late tonight. Outages remain in Kalamazoo, Van Buren, Allegan and Barry Counties. Indiana and Michigan Power says more than 11,000 customers are still without electricity. Most of those are in Van Buren and Berrien Counties. Midwest Energy Cooperative reports about 200 customers are still without power. Most of those outages are in Bangor and Covert.
