Consumers Energy Expects Restoration Work to Wrap up Midday Monday

Consumers Energy says it expects work on restoring power across the state to wrap up by midday Monday.

A news release from the Jackson-based company says   more than 87-thousand of its customers lost power at some point during the storms on Friday. Kalamazoo County was one of the hardest hit areas of the state. As of early this morning the Consumers Energy outage map showed about 200 customers in the state without power.
