Senator Ted Cruz will bring his Presidential campaign to Kalamazoo Monday.
The Texas Republican is scheduled to speak at a rally at the Wings Event Center Monday morning. Cruz was among the candidates seeking the Republican Presidential nomination who spoke to a gathering last month on Mackinac Island. The “tea party” favorite finished third in a straw poll conducted by the Detroit News and the MIRS News Service. Kentucky Senator Rand Paul won the Mackinac Island straw poll, Cruz was just behind Ohio Governor John Kasich.
