Ben Schmidt-Swartz (saxophones and accordion) and Christopher Biggs (electronics) will present a 55-minute improvised set at 7:30 pm on Thursday, Feb 10 in the Dalton Center Recital Hall at Western. They spoke with Cara Lieurance about the surprises their collaboration can create, and describe the dialogue between Schmidt-Swartz's acoustic playing and Biggs' digital manipulation in real time.
