Kalamazoo County Commissioner John Taylor will continue to chair the Commission in 2016. Board members unanimously reelected Taylor, a Democrat, to the post Tuesday evening. They also unanimously reelected Republican Jeff Heppler to the position of vice-chair.

The commission’s 11 members appoint board leaders once a year.
