George Dila's "Nothing More to Tell" makes human beings out of anti-heroes

George Dila says he loves his characters, even though they may be hard to love sometimes.

Many of Dila’s characters, at first, seem like anti-heroes: a father and son who rob the neighborhood and a maintenance man who moonlights as a hit man, to name a few. Dila says his characters constantly surprise them with the things that they do and say.

Dila’s work examines the good and bad in all human beings. He says the stories show us that we can never really know the people around us as well as we think we do.
