Western Michigan University’s Board of Trustees has given President John Dunn a vote of confidence.
The president’s evaluation was presented during Thursday’s board meeting. Trustee Ken Miller read a statement saying the board is pleased with Dunn’s leadership of the university. Miller says many challenges remain, but the board believes Dunn is the right person to lead Western in addressing those challenges. No mention was made of salary in what Miller called a "statement of confidence" in Dunn. Western trustees gave Dunn a raise last year.
