The final results of the 20th state Senate race should be known in mid-December.
The state Board of Canvassers certified Republican state Representative Margaret O'Brien's 59 vote win over Democratic Representative Sean McCann on Monday. McCann announced last week that he would seek a recount.
State Elections Director Chris Thomas told the Gongwer News Service that the recount will begin December 8th and is likely to last three days.
