Miller Not Ruling Out Run for Governor in 2018

WMUK

(Lansing-Gongwer News Service) Michigan Congresswoman Candice Miller is not ruling out a run for governor in 2018.

The GongwerNews Service says a source close to the Republican Representative says she is not saying yes or no to the idea, but has been encouraged by fellow Republican to consider seeking the state’s highest office. Miller has said she won’t run for re-election to Congress next year. Governor Rick Snyder won’t be able to seek another term. Lieutenant Governor Brian Calley and Attorney General Bill Schuette are both considered possible Republican candidates for governor in 2018.
