Governor Rick Snyder is stepping up his national travel schedule. And it’s got people wondering if he’s looking toward the White House for his next job.

Plenty of GOP sources say Rick Snyder is starting to act like a candidate for president. A new not-for-profit fund will finance a national travel schedule. The governor says it’s to tell the Michigan turnaround story, but he won’t deny White House ambitions.

On the other hand, the public schedule right now doesn’t exactly match one of a typical presidential aspirant with stops in Iowa and New Hampshire. Snyder has trips soon to New York and California, and he plans to hit the White House Correspondents Dinner next weekend.
