A 22 member search committee has been created to find Western Michigan University’s next president.
It will include three members of Western’s board of trustees. William Johnston is the chairman, James Bolger will be vice-chairman, trustee Mary Asmonga-Knapp will also serve on the search committee.
Other members include administrators, faculty and leaders of university unions and employee groups. Western President John Dunn announced last month that he plans to retire June 30th of next year. He has led the university since 2007.
