The eighth PromiseNet is being held November 6th - 8th in Kalamazoo. Miller-Adams says about 40 communities will be represented at the conference from all parts of the country.

There are about 30 scholarship programs modeled after the Kalamazoo Promise now established across the country. But Miller-Adams says other communities have developed their own models. She says different models can be used to address different issues in a community.
