200+ Young Performers Unite For Mahler's 'Resurrection' Symphony

Andrew Koehler will conduct the Kalamazoo Junior Symphony Orchestra and the combined choirs of Portage Central, Portage Northern, Vicksburg, and Kalamazoo Central High Schools in Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 2 "Resurrection," in its season-ending concert on Sunday in Chenery Auditorium.  Soprano LisaBorik and mezzo-soprano LaurenAuge are the featured soloists. 

In an interview with Cara Lieurance, Andrew Koehler walks us through the piece, and introduces us to Mahler's all-in approach to the symphonic form.
