Join RADFest, hosted by Wellspring, for a Community Dance & Drumming Jam! This movement and music celebration welcomes everyone—whether you consider yourself a dancer or not—to explore movement through open improvisation scores with live music, or to simply observe and enjoy the magic of dancing and drumming. The session will feature live music provided by The Druid Drummer, an unorthodox solo percussion act from Kalamazoo. The Druid Drummer creates primal soundscapes that serve as self-expression and as a call to the audience’s own inner rhythm.

Meet new and old friends while enjoying an afternoon of dancing to ballroom and Latin music at the Kalamazoo Ballroom Academy at 2020 Fulford Street in Kalamazoo, MI 49001. Shannon Bean will be teaching the lively and rhythmical Samba beginning at 2:00 p.m. Dance to current popular tunes and music hits from the past with DJ Bob Sievert from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. All levels of dancers, beginners, couples, and singles are welcome.
