A two-day event which brings together professionals in the fields of neuroscience, music therapy, performance, and education, director Ed Roth says the Music, Mind and Medicine conference may result in unexpected synergies and new research that furthers our understanding of how music affects us.
Dr. Roth and Cara Lieurance also discuss two public events offered by the conference: a concert by jazz violinist Regina Carter, and a Taiko drumming exhibition.
