Two new polls have different views of the race for Michigan governor.
A new poll for the Detroit News and Detroit television station WDIV shows Republican Governor Rick Snyder with an eight-point lead over his Democratic challenger Mark Schauer. It was conducted by the Glengariff Group. Meanwhile the Schauer campaign is pointing to a new survey by Public Policy Polling showing Snyder with just a one-point lead.
