(MPRN-Lansing) Michigan drivers will be able to show electronic proof of insurance during traffic stops.

That's under a bill Gov. Rick Snyder signed into law on Wednesday. The new law will take effect in 90 days. Until then, drivers are still required to carry a physical copy of their proof of insurance or face court-imposed fines.
