Upton says website problems raise other concerns about "Obamacare

WMUK

West Michigan Congressman Fred Upton says the website "should have been the easy part" of launching the new health care law.

Upton is chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, which has been looking into problems with website where people can shop for health insurance online.

Upton is also pushing a legislation that would allow people on individual health plans to stay on that policy if they like their coverage. The Saint Joseph Republican says that was a promise that President Obama made several times related to the Affordable Care Act.

Some Republicans called for major changes in the health care law to approve a continuing resolution or raise the debt ceiling. Upton says he doesn't expect that to happen again.
