(WUOM) Michigan’s Attorney General has tapped a former Wayne County Assistant Prosecutor to run the investigation into Flint’s drinking water crisis.
Todd Flood promises to “Open every door” to determine how Flint’s tap water became contaminated with lead. The probe will focus on determining if there was any criminal or civil malfeasance by government officials.
Attorney General Bill Schuette is promising a “thorough” investigation into how Flint’s drinking water became contaminated with lead.
But critics complain Flood has made financial contributions to Governor Rick Snyder’s past political campaigns. The head of Common Cause Michigan says that suggests he is “entangled” in the administration.
Flood and Schuette dismiss that suggestion.
