Fontana Finale To Highlight Jazz With Jeremy Siskind Trio
Jeremy Siskind, who joined the Western Michigan jazz faculty four years ago at age 25 (and winning the Nottingham International Jazz Piano Competition soon afterward) will be joined by favorite musical partners singer Nancy Harms and saxophonist Lucas Pino to close out the Fontana Summer Music Festival tomorrow night.
Siskind has continued to collaborate closely with his New York-based colleagues, acting as arranger/pianist for Harms' well-received 2016 album Ellington At Night, and lyricist for the jazz cycle Golden Rule, Turing Test by Lucas Pino. It premiered at Lincoln Center in June. They have performed nearly 150 concerts together.
